About Us

Welcome to the online home of the Oregon Fairs Association. Oregon’s 36 county fairs, and State fair, showcase the best that Oregon has to offer, including 4-H and FFA and open class competitions, diversity of foods that will satisfy all tastes, agricultural, industrial and home life exhibits, carnival rides guaranteed to thrill, and a wide range of entertainment for the enjoyment by fairgoers of all ages.

The more than 1.5 million people that attended Oregon’s county fairs in 2017 can attest to the great quality of life that our state has to offer. So no matter what your age, there’s something at all of Oregon’s fairs that not only will satisfy the fun-loving kid in everyone, but will also allow you to experience the traditions and diverse culture that makes Oregon a great place to live!

The Oregon Fairs Association (OFA) was formed in 1928 to provide inspiring leadership, create agriculture and education opportunities, and develop strategies and techniques that enhance and advance the state’s 36 county fairs.

OFA exists to help promote the value and importance of county fairs by being an advocate and supporter to our members, who have the same desire to improve their event.

The membership of OFA is made up not only of county fair boards, managers, and staff, but also Associate Members that provide services and supplies to our fair members. From carnivals and entertainers to food concessions and equipment companies, OFA encourages fairs and festivals to do business with these reputable supporters of our industry.
